1840-1846 Vernon Street Washington, DC Originally constructed in the Washington Heights Historic district in 1910, The Coronado is a 28 unit, 3-story condominium. A glass-enclosed circulation bridge is inserted in an open court, connecting and consolidating the separate buildings, providing access to two fire stairs and an elevator, and eliminating fire escapes. Three new units are added to the basement level, and eight new parking spaces are reclaimed from the existing sub-basement level and are accessed via a public alley.
