The first new office building on campus, AOL’s four-story, 240,000-square-foot Creative Center Two complements and extends the initial phases of the campus. A center atrium introduces daylight and offers collaborative spaces critical to interactive work. Situated around the atrium are reconfigurable open and enclosed offices that support programmers and office staff. The 500-foot primary public facade, a glass and silver-metal curtain wall, is broken with a series of simple vertical notches. At the rear courtyard, logic is reversed with glass and metal infill woven into the concrete structure with vertical glass bays. Column-free space, under-floor air distribution and individual desktop lighting controls support the flexible workspace.
