Located on Ball Point overlooking The Rappahanock River near the Chesapeake Bay, the Beswick family has completed the initial phase of their ultimate retirement home. The house is situated and designed to take full advantage of the water views. French doors flood the living area with light and take advantage of southeastern views and dormers in the roof expand the apartment’s spaciousness. The kitchen is also flanked by windows, one with a built-in seat, the other furnished as a dining nook. The main house is designed with a modern plan oriented to the view, and a traditional exterior, porches, terraces and pool gently embracing the river without overwhelming modest neighbors.
