Once dimly lit, cold and austere, the main lobby of this Class A West End office building are renovated into welcoming spaces for visitors and tenants, including the European Union. New recessed and decorative lighting, railings, wood paneling, carpeted areas, built-in seating and a new wood-and-glass reception desk contribute to brighten the lobby. The elevator lobby, marked by flanking lit panels, includes an interactive touch screen with streaming news feed and a directory. Elevator cabs and typical floor restrooms are also remodeled to update the public spaces. Custom light sconces displaying the building address frame the entrance and patterned stone pavement marks the building entrance.
