3032 Q St. NW is a 7-unit apartment in Georgetown. The project involved full renovation of the existing apartments and new rear addition, creating modern luxury apartments in the heart of Georgetown Historic District. Originally built in 1923, 3032 Q St. NW was designed by Claude N Norton, who has designed over 400 residential buildings in Washington DC. The renovation of 3032 Q St. NW involved replacing all interior wood joists and partitions as well as new plumbing and mechanical systems. The front of the building was maintained in the original condition, including the restoration of the original single pane wood windows. The new layout was able to capture additional bedrooms to create 4 two-bedroom units from what were previously one-bedroom units.
