NEW TEAM MEMBERS
Say hello to our newest team members, Tim Bullock and Jae Hong Ahn! 2022 has been a year of growth for Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS and we are very excited to have two more talented professionals on board.
Project Team Leader
Tim Bullock, a native Washingtonian, grew up in DC and was educated in the DC Public School System. At a young age, he developed a curiosity about the built environment which led him to study Architecture at the University of the District of Columbia. Throughout his career, Tim kept abreast of the latest technology and applies this knowledge to creatively address challenges and achieve success in a wide range of projects including mixed-use, student, multifamily housing, single-family homes and large commercial developments. Additionally, Tim has directed and coordinated quality control reviews of construction documents at a high level, using his experience with building and zoning codes to oversee the design and constructability of projects. His passion for detail is exemplified through an astute approach to the technical assemblage of the built environment. Tim’s commitment to excellence combined with his seasoned experience in detailing high-quality architecture makes him an asset to any and all projects he is assigned.
Jae Hong Ahn was originally born in Seoul, South Korea, but grew up in Chicago, Illinois. There, he pursued a Bachelor of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology and graduated in 2018. After graduation, Jae joined Rosen Architecture, a small firm in Chicago where he took on various projects in the city including single-family residential renovations, single-family residential new constructions, vacant manufacturing building rehabilitations into commercial occupancies, and automobile dealership/service center renovation. In the future, Jae wants to be a professor or mentor college students. Outside of work, he loves watching and playing soccer, sketching daily life moments, and drawing axonometric architecture.
Congratulations to Project Architect, Milan Glisic, for recently passing the WELL AP exam, denoting his expertise in the WELL Building Standard and commitment to advancing human health and wellness in buildings and communities! As a LEED accredited professional, Milan is committed to sustainable and socially responsible design approach in built environment. Such scruples are reflected in his daily routine of walking and utilizing human powered vehicles (bicycles) rather than external-energy powered vehicles, irrespective of fossil fuels or electricity. In his free time, Milan enjoys scuba-diving and traveling to interesting and new destinations.
