Bill Bonstra, FAIA, LEED AP, and David Haresign, FAIA, of Bonstra | Haresign ARCHITECTS, share work from their recently published book Designing Community, showcasing the firm’s community-oriented approach to architecture. The book features a variety of projects including affordable and market-rate housing, historic restoration, renovation, and adaptive reuse. Roger K. Lewis, FAIA, who wrote the book’s foreword, will give introductory remarks and Susan Piedmont-Palladino, Director of Virginia Tech’s Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center, will moderate a discussion with Bill, David, and Roger about the firm’s twenty-year practice in Washington, D.C.
